Must have for any Montessori Classroom 12/20/2010

This spindle box is beautiful and well made. The numbers have not rubbed off, the spindles are solid, yet light for little hands. This box has been used a considerable amount and it still looks as good as it did the day we received it.

Okay, so I really love these spindle boxes. Not only is it a Montessori child's first introduction to zero, it's such a beautifully concrete way of learning the concept. The spindle box has held up under use, the spindles are nice to hold in your hand and the numbers are still as clear and easy to read as the day they arrived. They also pack neatly away in the box when not on display. This is definitely one of the first must-have's for any Montessori classroom.
